gutterblood: Gutterblood is an independent, politically charged Scottish band that fuses elements of punk, doom metal, stoner rock, indie, and spoken word. Formed in 2019, the group is deeply rooted in the UK underground scene, using their music as a raw vehicle to critique economic inequality, government corruption, and social injustice. The band boasts a rich pedigree of veteran underground musicians who have played in several prominent Scottish acts that include In Decades Decline, Gin Goblins The Process, Headless Kross and The Cosmic Dead. Two members of Gutterblood are also active, long-term components of the legendary Scottish anarcho-punk band Oi Polloi. Their unapologetically regional Scottish spoken-word delivery and fierce anti-establishment tracks - such as the anti-monarchy anthem "Gardyloo" and the anti genocide single "24"- have earned them a reputation among reviewers for creating some of the most fiercely urgent, politically charged, and authentic underground music of recent years. Gutterblood have released two albums, one E.P and a split 7" to date on their own record label and are currently working on a new album and 7" release planned for later in 2026.
